Thetelecomoperatorhasbeencarryingoutpublictestrunsoftheserviceinselecttownswiththefirst4GnetworkdeployedinKolkatain2012.
Theservicewillbeavailabletocustomersthrough4Genabledmobilephones,internetdonglesandWiFirouters.Airtelwilloffer4Gdataplansat3G
pricesanduserswhoswaptheir3Gsimcardswith4GoneswillgetbenefitssuchasunlimitedaccesstoAirtel'smusicserviceforsixmonthsanda
certainnumberoffreemoviesonitsnewonlinemoviesplatform.4GdatapackswillstartatRs25.
Airtelhasalsointroducedanewrangeof'InfinityPlans'startingRs999.Theseplanswillofferunlimitedvoicecallsonmobilealongwithdatabenefits
andaccesstoAirtel'smoviesandmusicservices.
ThecompanyalsolaunchedFlexpage,anautomatedplatformthatallowscustomerstotracktheirdatausageandgetrealtimeusagealerts.With
Flexpage,customerscanalsoupgradetheirmobileplanonthego,asandwhentheyexhausttheirmonthlydataquota.Customerscanalsooptfrom
amongstahostof4GsmartbytesstartingatRs100.
