    Ice Breakers

    As time permits, I will conduct the following ice breakers in order to allow
    my students to get to know me, each other and I get to know about them.
    Activity One: Two Truths and a Lie- I will tell the class two things that are
    true about myself and one thing that is a lie. They will have to figure out
    which one is the lie.
    Activity Two: Nickname Game- Each student gets an index card and
    writes down their nickname. The cards passed back up to me (the teacher)
    and I then read off the nicknames. The students will then have to guess
    whose nickname is whose.
