COUNTER CIRCUIT
1. MODE OF OPERATION
The circuit shows 00 when powered ON. When the oscillator circuit connected to it,
the circuit start counting. Firstly the left display shows 0 and the right display start
counting from 0- 9. During counting of the right display the left display is still 0 until
right display reaches 9. So at that time the left display start counting from 0-5.When
the left display reaches 5 and the right display reaches 9. The procedure start again,
that means both display shows zeros and start counting again from 00-59.

2. OSCILLATOR CIRCUIT
In a stable (free-running) mode, the 555-timer can operate as an oscillator. In our
counter circuit we used this oscillator for testing our implemented counter circuit. The
impemented circuit, the schematic diagram and the waveform shown from an
oscilloscope of our oscillator is shown bellow:

oscilloscope

3. CONCLUSION
The counter circuit shows 00 when powered ON and start counting from 00-59 when
the oscillator circuit is connected.
