Moral Lesson:
One day, a servant was asked by his master to deliver a horse and some goods to the next
town. The servant loaded all the goods on a cart. The he hitched the cart to a mule. In a while, the
servant was already leading the mule and the horse along the way.
The road was bumpy, and the goods loaded on the cart were heavy. The mule had a hard
time pulling the cart. They had not gone far from the village when the mule started to pant due to
tiredness. He turned to the horse who was walking proudly besidehim.
“My friend horse,” the mule said, “the load on the cart is too heavy. Can you at least carry
some of it?’’
The mule felt sorry for himself. The load on the cart seemed to get heavier with his every step.
Suddenly , the mule collapse and could not not get up.
The servant had no choice but to relieved the mule of the cart.
And the horse could not do anything when the servant hitched the cart to him. The horse
felt sorry for himself- especially when the servant also loaded the helpless mule on the cart.

Tauhan:
Aral ng Kwento: “ Kapag tinulungan mo ang iba ay tinulungan mo rin ang iyong sarili”
Isang araw,isang taga-silbi ang inutusan ng kanyang amo na dalhin sa kabilang bayan ang
isang kabayo at ilang kalakal.
Hindi pa sila nakakalayo sa bayan ng magsimulang hingalin ang buriko dahil sa pagod.
Singhal ng kabayo.” Hindi ako buriko!” Naawa ang buriko sa kanyang sarili. Ang
nakalulan sa kariton ay tila lalong bumibigat sa bawat pag-hakbang niya. Bigla, nalugmok ang
buriko at hindi na makatayong muli.
Walang nagawa ang taga-silbi kundi alisin ang buriko mula sa pagkakasingkaw sa kariton.
At wala rin magawa ang kabayo ng isingkaw ng taga silbi ang kariton sa kanya.
