Reflection
The message was about to share the love of God and to share his word to people.
Pastor Banzuelo also discussed on how we can make a stronger and better church through
God's word. He also said that God wants us to love imperfect people. We talked about the
important details on why the church grew in the book of Acts. First, the believers had a
clear vision on what they were called for that they should spread God's word. Second, the
people had a stronger commitment to God that even though they experienced suffering
they still shared the word of the Lord. Third, the believers contributed to the goal on sharing
God's word because they were united in mind and in heart. Fourth, the empowered service
given by the holy spirit because the people have not stopped in spreading God's word and
loving one another. There were important actions points also discussed. We have to
activate the nominals or believers who don't spread God's word. We have to tell them that it
is important to share His word. We have to breakdown the barriers on having a good
relationship with the people inside the church. We also have to contribute to the goal on
sharing God's word. We have to disciple the saved meaning we need to keep people who
knows His word growing in Him. Lastly, we shouldn't discourage people who want to serve
the Lord.
I have learned that we have to work together as one church to solve the problem with
today's churches: more nominals than people who share God's word. I realized that there is
no perfect church and people and that all of the churches have problems. I realized too that
we have to love one another and we shouldn't have anger with one another. I have learned
on how I can become a better follower of God. I have learned that I should spread God's
word because it is our duty as the children of God. I also have learned that encouragement
is a big factor for a better and stronger church. I will start spreading God's word.
