Homework is listed in the student planner,
as well as, on the 5th grade website.

-Read 30 minutes each night and Readers
Responses should be done each night (5)
Agendas need to be signed
-Weekly homework assigned Monday, to be
completed by Friday.

5th Gr. Grading policy

Class Assignments (60%)


Late assignments will result in a 10 point deduction. If
it is turned in after grades have gone into the
gradebooks, we will still provide students with feedback
for their effort.
Test/Quizzes (30%)
Homework (10%)
-If no homework is assigned in a subject, Class
Assignments will adjust to 70%
Students will have an equal number of school
days to the number of days absent to complete an
assignment.
Failed Class Assignments and Tests may be retaught and corrected to earn a maximum grade of
70 within 10 days of the failed grade.
