The group bought a 5W+ 5W sine average (rms) stereo amplifier from eGizmo. This kit packs enough power to make a great DIY amplifier/booster
for personal audio devices. When used with bookshelf loudspeakers, it can

fill a fairly large room with loud and clear music. The kit features LA4108 IC
Audio amplifier, 2-channel power amplifier, and solderless connectors. Its
power input is from 9V-16VDC, a single ended output type, 5W + 5W at 4ohm load power input, 0.2% at 1-kHz typical total harmonic distortion and
noise, 4-8 ohms output load and the PCB dimensions is 44 x 82 mm. The
group soldered the resistors, capacitors, LEDs, diode and an IC. Everything
was finished. The students though that they will find this useful as a general
purpose test amplifier on their project but the instructor checked their work
and told them that the kit they bought is wrong and they needed to buy a
new one and repeat their work.

The group bought a new kit, 30 W
