Coat of Arms Project

This project is an introductory project to designing. A coat of arms is often

considered as the predecessor to modern logos. A coat of arms dates back to
medieval times as far back as the 11th century. Their use has ranged from
representation of prominent families to being adopted by groups and organizations
such as towns, companies, universities and churches. Your job is to create a coat of
arms that represents you. This is informative and communicative graphic design.
Be creative with your design and surrounding images. A coat of arms does not have
to be generic in design. BE CREATIVE!
