This website tells you about the risks when, where, why, how young people drive, the
different approaches to driving on the road and who is responsible on the road and it says
that it is not just the young divers fault when some on dies but it is a shared responsibility
and there is more males dying than female.
Similarities and differences
In all three there are a lot of road accidents resulting in casualties for young people.
In all three there are more accidents from males than from females.
Only one of articles tells about the reduction of deaths according to the Australian
Bureau of Statistics.
There are a number of differences between the articles. In article 1, the Australian
bureau statistics shows the reduction to casualties on the road. In article 2 is the only
one that states the risk of motor bikes on the road. Dr Scott Parker (2014) discusses
the responsibility on the road and the systems theory proposing a new approach to
road safety.

driver road safety. And the role of sensation seeking, reward and punishment sensitivity, anxiety
and depression in the risky behaviour of young novice drivers. Dr Scott-Parker is interested in a
safe systems approach to young driver road safety, intervention development and evaluation,
with a particular focus upon the development of the driver from the pre-licence period.
