Rule-1 (TPS) Whenever the subject of a sentence is in Third Person Singular (he, she or it) the verb ends with s, es or ies in Simple Present Tense. Ex: he comes she does it flies Rule-2 (To) Always use the present tense form of the verb after -- to. Ex: to read to drive to cook Rule-3 (3D) After do, does and did use only the present tense form of the verb. Ex: I do go he does go they did go Rule-4 (3h) After have, has and had use only the past participle form of the verb. Ex: have eaten has gone had seen Rule-5 (SVA) The subject in a sentence must agree with the verb in number and person.
