skills validated in MWSU simulation lab were practiced.
Critical Care: Mosaic, St. Joseph MO; 45 clinical hours that focused on
standards-based holistic care for patients and families experiencing complex health
alterations with uses and effects of advanced health care technology and special
environments for care.
Mental Health: Mosaic, St. Joseph, MO; 45 clinical hours that focused on
standards-based holistic care of individuals with acute or chronic psychiatric disorders
with an emphasis of interviewing patients and leading group activities.
Pediatrics: Childrens Mercy Hospital, Kansas City, MO; 45 clinical hours
that focused on standards-based holistic care for infants, children and adolescents with
acute or chronic health alterations. Stationed floor (6 Henson) focused their care for
children with abnormalities involving endocrinology, pulmonology and GI.
Obstetrics: Mosaic, St. Joseph, MO; 45 clinical hours that focused on
standards-based holistic care for pregnant women, their newborn and the family.
Acute Care and Community Health Capstone: PACU unit at Mosaic, St.
Joseph, MO and CH is TBA; 280 clinical hours that focused on application of
standards-based practice with an emphasis of role transition from student to a
professional nurse.
CPR/AED-adult (December 2013), ARC Certification (2013), Standard First Aid, Simulation

Work Experience
Serving experience at Saint Joseph Country Club (6 months) and Ebbets Field
Sports Bar (5 months): trained and developed skills that included interpersonal
communication, attentiveness, and multitasking.
Hy-Vee Service Clerk for Meat and Seafood Department (2012-2015): roles require
efficient and friendly customer service that exhibits care, concern and patience in
all customer interactions. Frequent secret shoppers graded my customer service at
100% during their shopping experiences. I received training on food safety and
duties that require meat preparation skills using dangerous machinery (grinder,
band saw, tenderizer, etc), trimming, and stocking the service case. Additional
roles included training new coworkers, supervising the night shift, and handling
any customer issues.
