The Lion and The Mouse

Once, there lived a mighty lion in the jungle.
One day, the lion was sleeping after eating a good
lunch. Then suddenly, a mouse appeared out of no
where and bumped into the lion.
The lion was surprised and woke up. How dare
you wake me up! Dont you know that I am the king of
the beast? Anyone who disturb my rest will be eaten
by me!
The scared mouse, shaking and crying, begging
the lion to let him go. Please do not eat me, oh
mighty lion! I was only playing around. Please let me
go. And I promise I will be your friend forever. If you
are in trouble someday, I surely will save your life.
The lion looked at the mouse and laughed. you
save my life? So small and weak but want to save the
big and mighty lion like me? What a funny animal you
are, and you have put me in a good mood, so I shall let
you go. And the lion let the mouse down and walked
away laughing so hard.
A few days later, the lion was caught in a
hunters trap. He cannot get out of the net. So, the lion
screamed and cried for help. Please, anyone, help
me!
The mouse heard the lions cries. He ran as fast
as he could and saw the lion in a trap. Oh no, please
wait my big friend, I shall help you! and the mouse
climbed the tree to the net and with his sharp little
teeth, he bit the net, one by one until the lion was free.

I do not believe this, but my little friend, thank you for

saving my life. I am sorry for saying how small and
weak you are, Said the lion humbly
