Climate:
Oahu is the third largest island in Hawaii. There are many different types of landscapes. Balmy
trade winds keep average air temperatures between 71 to 88F; it is comfortable to be outside all year

Our target population is families; couples and individuals who enjoy a luxurious serene
environment that expect the best in customer experience and premiere tropical location for every type of
occasion.

Geography:
Around Oahu's 112-mile coastline, the Pacific Ocean lap up against the beaches. The central
regions and the eastern coastline get a bit of a wetter climate. On the northwestern coastline the climate
is warmer and drier.

Aloha, my name is Richard Gonzalez. My friends call me Big rich! Ive been a resident here on the
beautiful island of Oahu Hawaii since 2010. Originally I am a California native. While in the military I was able
to visit Hawaii many times and this fostered my love for this beautiful island and rich culture. I went to school
for outdoors recreation at Eastern Washington University in Washington state. I love to give people an
experience they cannot find elsewhere. I love to see people grow in the outdoors and foster new passions in the
outdoor recreation community.
Kids Club
Aloha oukou, hello to you all, my name is Kelsey Chase and I am so happy to welcome you all to The
Kids Club here at Diamond Cove. Living in Hawaii for the past four years has been such an incredible
experience coming for the great state of Texas. I graduated from Eastern Washington University with a degree
in Therapeutic Recreation and a specialization in child life studies. I am an expert on knock knock jokes and
having fun. I love working and laughing with children and hope their experience here at Diamond Coves Kids
Club is nothing short of the best vacation they have ever had.
Water Sports
Aloha! My name is Kellie and I am your key to all things water sports! I grew up on a small lake in
Middle of Nowhere, Washington. There, I picked up a passion for paddle boarding, kayaking and all different
types of water sports. I am passionate about getting people out and comfortable with being in the water and
helping people try new things. If you are not sure about something, find me on the beach and I will guide you
through it. We can do it together!

Water and Wildlife

Hello! My name is Ivanna Lomas, I graduated from Eastern Washington University with a double major
in Chemistry and Recreation Management, and a double minor in Coaching and business. I am an All-American
basketball player that still holds the record for most points scored in a womens college basketball game with 81
points. I have also created an End Hunger Foundation that has tripled in size every year. This foundation is
estimated to end world hunger by 2018. With my Recreation Major and Business minor I have decided to team
up with a few colleagues to create for you a fun vacation for you and your family to enjoy.
Land Activities
World traveler Samie Miller has spent the past four years backpacking all over the world. Originally
from Washington State, she grew up hiking and camping in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and decided to go to
school to study her passion: recreation. A graduate of Eastern Washington University, Samie earned a degree in
Recreation Management with a minor in business administration. Samie is our new Land Activities Supervisor
here at Diamond Cove, and is excited to share her love of the outdoors, exploring and recreation with the
resorts guests!
Spa
She is a certified massage therapist and spa management specialist. She has many years of practices with
massage, spa, and making people feel relaxed and comfortable at Diamond Cove. Make your stay at Diamond
Cove the best it can be and check out our wonderful spa packages.

Diamond Cove Resort and Spa is dedicated to providing the whole family with a vacation experience like no
other. The kids club offers a unique experience for kids and parents to experience different fun activities at all times of the
day not otherwise offered in the resort. Diamond Cove strives to provide the best in kids entertainment.

The kids club division of Diamond Cove Resort and Spa is broken up into three levels of programs to provide our
guests with all levels of entertainment, interest levels and activities at all times of the day. The following information
details the specific program aspects of The Kids Club that catch our guests and keep them coming back.

Morning: The foundation of these programs to offer the participants of Kids Club activities in the morning hours of the
day. Programs include Sailing Clinics, Spa days and Petting Zoo. These programs offer our participants a relaxing start to
the day filled with fun and adventure.

Afternoon: These activities can both be relaxing such as spending the afternoon enjoying a horseback ride around the
island, a cooking clinic to enjoy after, and letting your Tiger Woods show with a Golf Lesson. This group of programs is
the perfect way to take a breather after the excitement of morning activities and before you get your second wind for
evening activities.

Evening: These programs are designed to provide the guests of Diamond Cove with a relaxing evening experience after a
day of fun filled adventures. Movie nights and Magic shows where you get to sit back relax and just enjoy your time here
with us.

Golf Lessons: Enjoy a two hour long session with our trained and experienced golf pros to help. The purchase of one
session also includes one free round of glow in the dark mini golf on your night of choice. ($64)

Cooking Classes: Let the kiddos get some real hands on experience getting messy in the kitchen with our world

Sailing Clinics: Learn to set sail with all the wonders and mastery of sailing the open sea. ($8.71)

your family. We offer various activities at varying experience levels. Whether you are an adrenaline junky or
just want to kick back and relax, we have got something for you!
The Land Sports division at Diamond Cove is well known for offering activities that you cant find at
any other resort! We are dedicated to offering the largest variety of activities that will appeal to any and all of
our guests. Our focus is providing classes and trips for people that want to get out, adventure, relax and learn.
Our classes are split up into three divisions. These divisions are Leisure, Adventure and Learning. Leisure is all
about relaxing, Adventure is for thrill seekers and outdoor enthusiasts and Learning is all about developing
skills that will help you with your future outdoor pursuits.
Leisure: These classes and activities are designed for our guests to just get away and relax. These activities are
generally low impact and are a great way to de-stress!
Leisure activities include: Open Golf Play, Yoga, Horseback, Glamping and Twilight Couples Yoga.
Adventure: These activities are designed to raise heart rates and get people outside to enjoy nature! These will
unleash your inner adrenaline junky! Enjoy being outside while getting an incredible amount of physical

provide fun, enjoyable activities that you wouldnt see at a regular resort and spa.
The water sports section of Diamond Cove Resort and Spa offers an assortment of activities for guests of all ages
to relish and enjoy. Our department consists of activities that fall into three different categories: beginner, intermediate,
and advanced activities. This breaks it up easily for you to decide which suits and your style and level of comfort best! All
of our classes and activities are extraordinarily exciting here at Diamond Cove Resort and Spa. We are here to provide
you high quality experiences no matter what level you are!
Beginner: These classes and activities are low impact and meant to help build your skill level. These may be things
youve always wanted to try and never had the courage to do so
Beginner classes include: Day Surfing, Wakeboard and Water Ski Lessons, and Paddleboard
Lessons. These classes
have shown a high success rate and they have gotten our clients out in the water by themselves quicker than any other
lessons on the island. Youll be a pro in no time!
Intermediate: These classes and activities require a bit more knowledge but you shouldnt need to be an expert to execute
them! Intermediate classes include: Twilight Paddleboard Date Night, Hydro-Jet packing Experience, Kayak Adventure
Tour, Lovers Cove Kayak Date Night, and Sunrise/Sunset Paddleboard Yoga. These classes and activities are high quality
and provide a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
Expert: These classes are the most intense our water sports section has to offer! These are classes and activities that

Diamond Cove Resort & Spa proudly offers Water & Wildlife adventures suitable for the entire family.
This department is separated into two different categories base on the time of day the event is occurring. There
will be a morning category and a night categories. Our unique Resort and Spa allows adventures at all times,
day and night.

Morning: Programs in the morning category consist of early, relaxing, and refreshing activities. These
activities are suitable for all ages. Activities such as Catamaran Boat Tour and Whale watching both occur in
the early morning. On Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays participants can join us for a tour around the island to
get their day started. On any weekday with no prior training needed can come out between 5 and 8 am to watch
whales fly through the air. Every year these two activities were rated 5 star! Come enjoy your cup of Joe at our
morning activity.
Evening: Activities offered in the evening give you time to wind down after a long day of exploration. The ages
of these activities vary. Activities such as the Dolphin Watch and Manta Ray Swim & Snorkel both occur in the
evening giving you time to wind down from a long fun filled day. Watching dolphins is available Sunday,
Monday, and Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm. Manta Ray swim & snorkel is available Tuesday, Thursday, and
Friday from 8 to 10 pm. Many of our previous participants have rated these activities five star, stating that these
activities really allowed them to stretch out their day and wind down with fun activities.

Catamaran Boat Tour: The Catamaran Boat tour takes you on a relaxing hour long tour around our beautiful
island and tropical reefs.
Snorkeling above water: Snorkeling gives you time to experience the sea life from a distance but still within
reach. Above water snorkeling is perfect for beginning snorkelers and younger snorkelers.
Come join us Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday between 12 and 4.
Deep Water Dive: Teaches the basic techniques of deep water diving. The deep breathing, the stretches that
need to be done before you deep water dive, and lastly all the safety tips you need to know.
Snorkeling Bottom of Ocean: For snorkeling exerts and newbies eager to learn we offer your classic
snorkeling on sea floor. A close up of sea life and the seas beautiful reefs make this event popular, sign up
quick!
I Spy Under Water Addition: I spy is a fun game of who spys what under water with prizes to give away. I
Spy is good for all ages, bring your son, daughter, grandparents, and parents.
Whale Watch: Is a simple way to start off the morning by just sitting and relaxing. The whales put on a
jumping frenzy the more audience members they have, so come! Whale watching is also good for all ages.
Dont forget your camera!
Glass Bottom Boat Tour: Takes you on a tour around our islands and beautiful reefs, having a glass bottom on
the boat allows you enjoy the oceans views under water.
Tortoise Watching: Come at the right time and get lucky, some days you will be able to witness baby tortoises
hatch and make their way to our beautiful waters. Other days you will be able to see our tortoise sun bathe as
their shells change colors with enough sun. Tortoise watching is offered everyday 10 to 11 am. Join us today!
Midnight Star Gazing: Our midnight star gazing is a romantic getaway for all you love birds that need to get
away from their children or in laws. Dont miss us taking you out in the middle of the ocean to feel the waves
and hope for shooting stars. We offer star gazing every night from 11 to 1 am.
Dolphin Watching: Wrap up your evening with dolphin watching. The dolphins put on a beautiful fairy tale
ending to a perfect day, watch as they ride off into the evenings sunset.

Manta Ray Swim: Are you an adrenalin junky? If so, the manta ray swim is where you need to be. We
exclusively allow you to swim as one with manta rays. This exhilarating event is one of our most popular events
because of its risky but fun activity.

Submarine Ride:
This once in a lifetime ride takes you deep into the dark ocean, allowing you to see wildlife not many other
have. Our submarine ride is the only sub in the United States, take advantage while you can!
