The big idea is the vulnerability in a child's mind, such as weakness, anxieties, and with out protection the child can be hurt physically or emotionally. One idea is to get the child in a interaction to tell a story so the child can open his / her self up. The highlight was when we connected all the art work from all the student in the class and swirled the light around it.

So we as a teacher have to open our eyes and see the problem and try to solve or help the child to have more self confidence. One idea is to get the child in a interaction to tell a story so the child can open his/her self up. Daniel Pink (2006) says: A popular scrapbooking movement where a child can open up and tell a narrative or story who they are and what they are about, most of the time it can open a door to a self discovery. It is a very important tool and the child can feel protected with out hurting emotionally. No matter if its a child or adult we should seek a meaning full life and we will get in return a happy life, because we all are seeking for happiness (Pink, 2006). I believe it is very helpful in a classroom setting the Empathy Braid art work. Because kids can be involved in material search and create there own mining full art work. It could be a story, picture, drawing, painting, or valuable pieces of materials, but it could be also a mix of all materials. For me as a future teacher it was the most interesting artwork I did in the class and I can see how I could make it interesting and mining full for kids. The highlight was when we connected all the art work from all the student in the class and swirled the light around it. I can see how excited kids could be to create there own idea in a art work.
