Description: Work with a dynamic marketing team to brainstorm fresh ideas, strategize, conceptualize, manage,
design, and implement engaging print, web, and social media marketing campaigns for DNCs operations inside
Yosemite National Park which include 12 lodging properties, Badger Pass Ski Area, Yosemite Food and Wine Series
events, 19 food and beverage facilities, 11 retail outlets, recreational activities, tours, meeting facilities, and
environmental programs.
Marketing Creative and Collateral Duties:

Conceptualize and design marketing collateral and advertisements.

Update existing collateral as needed.

Provide print-ready file packages to printer.


Monitor advertising needs and calendar.

Submit advertisements to newspapers and magazines.


Organize, manage, and update photo and logo assets.
Manipulate, resize, and format photos as needed.

Fulfill photo and other asset requests from other DNC units, third parties, and media.
Organize messaging and create signage for special events.

Collaborate with and create promotional collateral for regional partners to distribute and display at travel
shows and local businesses.

Social Media and Web Duties:

Create engaging content and imagery and post to DNCs 4 Facebook, 2 Twitter, 1 Instagram, and
1 Pinterest account daily.
Monitor comments and engage followers on all of DNCs social media accounts daily.

Search for and create social media content.

Create PPC/digital banner ads and engaging social media headers, ads, and images.

Manage social media calendar.

Respond to guest questions, comments, and trip planning inquiries that come in through the Contact Us
section of the website on a daily basis.
Conceptualize and collaborate with the Online Marketing Manager to update existing web pages, develop
new web page content, and create new pages.
Update web pages and online web alerts as instructed during emergency or urgent situations in the
absence of the Online Marketing Manager.
Assist with search engine optimization.

Other Duties:

Sit on DNCs environmental advisory committee, and create collateral related to our environmental and
sustainability efforts in Yosemite.

Prepare for, organize logistics, and staff booths at travel shows promoting travel and tourism to Yosemite
National Park.
Collaborate, strategize, and implement tactics with other regional partners to create the annual
Yosemite Experience Pavilion, a section of the Travel and Adventure Shows, devoted to promoting
travel and tourism to Yosemite National Park and the surrounding region.

Interpretive Services Coordinator

Wrote text and designed interpretive exhibits and displays for DNC-operated facilities, merchandise,
website, and marketing pieces.

Conducted interpretive tours of the historic Ahwahnee hotel, naturalist walks, and evening programs for
