1. Give the meaning of the kitchen utensils and identify the utensils that
commonly found in the kitchen.
2. Value the uses and importance of the kitchen utensils.
3. Demonstrate the proper use of kitchen utensils.

Class, our topic for this morning is all about
Kitchen Utensils.
What are your ideas about utensils?
Very good class!
Kitchen utensil is the (definition read by the
student).
The word utensil comes from the Latin
word utensilia meaning things for use.

Utensils are (student answer).


Kitchen utensil is a tool you can hold in
your hand and use around the house.

A simple and useful device that is used for


doing tasks in a persons home and
especially in the kitchen.

According to Merriam Dictionary, utensil is

It is used in the kitchen, for food-related


function.
In the kitchen, the common utensils are the
knives, forks and spoons.
There are different utensils that commonly
found in the kitchen.
The first one is can opener, kindly read
(student).
It is also a piece of equipment with a
circular blade.

appliance used for opening cans.

It is a wooden or plastic board where meats


and vegetables can be cut.

is essential for various tasks from cleaning
