Ifa Orisa Naional Congress

Ifa Orisa National Congress is an organization of initiated and non-initiated

practitioners of the Ifa-Orisa religion, tradition and culture. Ifa Orisa National
Congress promotes culture, education, unity and peace in our nation where Orisa
worship plays an important role in our development
Ifa-Orisa National Congress is an organization of initiated practitioners and families
of Ifa practice and Orisa religion and culture. Ifa-Orisa National Congress, promotes
the teachings of Ifa Corpus, promote economic empowerment, cultural and social
responsibility in Trinidad and Tobago. Ifa plays an important role in each persons life
in their day to day activities individually and collectively. Ifa-Orisa National Congress
is a culmination of individuals and institution initiated into the wisdom of Ifa, the
guiding principles of Olodumare (God).
Aims and Objectives:

To revitalize and rejuvenate the pure Orisa culture, worship and all its
traditions
To organize periodic meetings so as to evaluate, promote and encourage
dialogue in various aspects of Orisa tradition and culture, keeping members
abreast of developments within the community
To foster economic empowerment amongst its membership institutes
To hold regular cultural festivals and events beneficial to our development
To issue publications on Ifa Corpus, books, historical events, member Egbes
development, and all relevant information necessary for the advancement
To promote regular development programs to train priest, herbalists, cooks
and educators of the traditional aspects of Ifa-Orisa
To serve as an umbrella to all other Ifa Orisa worshippers and Yoruba cultural
organizations for representation nationally and globally

We promote Iwa pele, culture, education, peace and universal understanding as an

umbrella organization for the practitioners of Ifa Orisa culture in our nation.
All memebers of the Ifa-Orisa community are advised to encourage and support
their household to be members of the Ifa-Orisa National Congress. This will help in
bringing family cohesion, love, peace, harmony empowerment and understanding.
