As the indigenous tribe in Australia, Aborigines is still got problem that has not
resolved. This native people in Australia have not fused and recognized as the native tribes
people of Australia. Many attempts have been made by advocates of the Aboriginal, is the
way to bring them get a good life. First, such as their rights as indigenous in Australia,
Federal Council, the national organisations that made the advancement of Aborigines. This
efforts refer to demands of hardened and repudiating assimilation, their supporters called for
Aboriginal self-determination.
This article explain that the government has not shown a response about aboriginal
issues, even it has been argued since more than two decades ago. Even the Commonwealth
has responded by creating and expanding the advisory structures thought necessary to
identify and serve aboriginal interest. And the important things that should be solved is about
the land rights be a symbol as the struggle of aborigines. As the native tribes of Australia,
aborigines fight for land rights before the rights lost to them. We can see that the author of
this article seeks to explain the problems between the government and aboriginals. The
problems of recognition to the land rights for aboriginals. From this article it appears that the
Australian government does not respond to the discussion about the aborigines has been
discussed more than two decades.
In response to this article, the author would like to express that what happens is how
an interest that has not received an appropriate policy. on the one hand it can be seen that the
Australian government as the country that should be able to protect all the citizens. on the
other hand did the authors see any disadvantages to legalize this policy. As a British
Commonwealth country that is seeing the benefit of this will be left behind. whereas if we
look at the social and cultural side of this needs to be considered. the native tribes who have
settled in Australia a few hundred years to get a decent position. authors suppose, from the
political side, the Australian state is known to have a good background of democracy should
pay attention to this issue.
