It gives me great pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Mr. Ratnakar Gadi,
who was my student at Andhra University College of Engineering, where he pursued his B.
Eng in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering. I was his Course Instructor for
Engineering Mechanics-I & Engineering Mechanics-IIduring his second year. He is
extremely conscientious about his work and in attending classes. He involves himself in class
discussions and has keen interest in the subject. I found him to be full of zeal, to learn new
subjects and technologies. He has shown interest towards research areas in Naval
Architecture. Because of his dedication and a conceptual approach to studies, he has
consistently been ranked amongst the top 3 students of his year. His work demonstrates an
attention to detail and an ability to integrate a multitude of ideas to aid in solving problems.
He has also participated in several technology oriented lectures and functions organised at
various colleges in India.
Ratnakar has been involved in various co-curricular activities at the Andhra
University College of Engineering . An achievement worth mentioning would be his term as
the member of the Andhra University Cricket team. He is also a good athlete and regular
participant in Intra-Department games. It is worth mentioning that he was Runner up in
Badminton at Department Level. He was recipient of Prof I.Basava Appa Rao Memorial for
the Most Dynamic Student of the Marine Department for the year 2013-2014 for his all
round performance.
Ratnakar was a very responsible pupil. He was the Student Coordinator and Student
head for Anti-Ragging Squad of the Marine Department.
I am sure that his hard work & determination in pursuing goals would enable him to
cope up and meet the challenges at your University.
