Strengths in Literacy: Reading
Interests: Soccer, reading (cartoon comics, fact and fantasy books), family, sports, AFL
Literacy Preferences: Reading chapter books.
Child as Literacy Learner: Reads often at home, occasionally with parents, but prefers to read alone.
Believes he is a strong reader but a poor writer due to originally being left-handed and then changing to
being right handed.
Relationships with others in the school: Best friend Moshin (also a good reader), likes to read with
him in reading groups.
Physical environment: Moreland primary school. One class of 72 students and 3 teachers. No
designated homerooms. Hashim enjoys his large class size.

This is a great book for you as an animal lover. It
