V. TARGET OUTCOMES
DIGITAL ETHICS: Be Kind Onlineis a seminar that aims to teach the students about good
manners and right conduct in using social media. They will be able to: identify the issues and problems
that arise from the misuse of social media; become responsible in using social media and other online
activities and commit oneself to the advocacy of promoting Digital Ethics.
VI. RATIONALE
DIGITAL ETHICS: Be Kind Online is a seminar designed to help students become responsible
users of social media. It comprises four modules and learning structured activities namely:
1. different cases, issues and problems in using social media;
2. consequences of improper use of social media;
3. responsible and kind use of social media; and
4. pledge and commitment to promote Digital Ethics.

VII. OBJECTIVES [Performance Indicators]


The seminar aims to help students:
1. identify the different cases, issues, and problems in using social media;

2. determine the consequences of improper use of social media;


3. develop a sense of responsibility using social media; and
4. commit oneself in promoting digital ethics through the use of pledge.
