The goal is to regularly evaluate each students learning and understanding of content material based on a
variety of informal and formal assessments. It is then her goal to adjust the lessons and add the proper
modifications and resources to meet the diverse needs of her students.

Strategic Prompt: Why is this topic/focus area important?


Students deserve to reach their fullest potential. To accomplish this, however, teachers must understand the
needs of their students. By analyzing assessments, receiving feedback, and observing the measurements of
learning, teachers have a better understanding of what their students need. It is the teachers responsibility to
create an environment where students feel comfortable voicing their needs to responding to the data and
feedback received from students.

Objective:

To create a safe learning environment that fosters positive and constructive


feedback for both students and teachers. In an environment where everyone feels
respected, more success is bound to emerge.

Well-thought out lessons: preparing lessons in which modifications and recourses are set in place to aid
students

Adjustment: Not only building in modifications to lessons for diverse needs, but recognizing a situation
in which the lesson needs to be adjusted in order to enhance student understanding

By mid-November I would like to have a solid grasp on these skills. By the end of December, I would like to
display growth since November and ultimate success in attaining my goal.

practices. If I attain the goal successfully, students will be able to notes that I was able to adjust my
