    This document shows the percentage and number of refugees accepted from each US state in fiscal year 2014, including the number of Syrian refugees accepted. It also estimates the number of Syrian refugees that could be accepted in 2016 using the percentages from 2014. The largest refugee accepting states in 2014 were Texas, Michigan, California, Florida and New York. The fewest refugees were accepted from Mississippi, Arkansas, District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
