A. THEME OF THE ASSIGNMENT

Think a theme for a product, examples: toys for Special Children/green
technology based furniture/ teaching aids for 21st century.
Students have to design a product that suitable for the selected theme. Materials
used for the product must be safe and suitable for target user. Creativity and
novelty must be shown in the design where it doesnt resemble the design in the
market.
B. PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT
The main purpose of this project is to encourage students to apply the teori of
Engineering Graphic into practice by using CAD. In the end of this project,
students are able to:
(i)
design a product systematically.
(ii)
translate the object sketching into computerized format in AutoCAD.
(iii) enhance critical and creative thinking.
(iv) enhance probelm solving skill.
