Hello Soccer Parents,

Thank you for your patience in awaiting information. I will tell you what I can, but I, too, am
awaiting a final schedule from Chadwick! ^^ Here is what I know, so far:
Mr. Baker, Mr. T, and I would like to have an extra practice, next Tuesday, the 10th, from
4-5pm with the 1/2s, 3s, and 4s. If you cannot attend, no problem, but for those who can be
there at the extra practice, great.
We will also practice on Friday, the 13th, as originally planned.
We will play in the tournament both Saturday and Sunday, 14-15th. Mr. Baker, Mr.
Tronsgard, Miss Heather and Mr. Hill will attend.
If you are a student who will come to CDS first, and take the bus to the tournament, please
plan to meet in the main parking lot, at 8am. Our bus will be departing CDS at 8:15am.
Parents driving the students to the tournament should expect to drop off students or meet
us at 9:15am at Chadwick.
Students being picked up at Chadwick, please be there for pick-up at 3pm.
Students returning to CDS by bus, we estimate to be back at school by 4pm. We will
contact the FP Soccer Grade Representatives with the details.
Repeat for Sunday. Sunday might finish earlier.
Student lunches: each student should pack snacks and water, at least. There will be food
trucks and food vendors selling lunch and snacks there, but I do not have the details, yet.
One possibility is for students to purchase food, there (with the teachers), or students may
bring their own lunch.
Soccer Parents should be supplying drinks, oranges, etc. for the team.
What to wear:
FP Lil Phoenixes soccer uniform,
PE jacket and hoodie,
PE sweatpants, winter hat (toque)
Everything must have the student's name on it.
This may seem like a lot of clothes, but we want to dress very warmly in case
it is cold, and for when we are sitting, watching other games.
No jewelry, no earrings, etc.
Students with glasses should have sports glasses.
Students must have soccer shin pads.

Uniforms are finally here! We will hand out uniforms for students, Wednesday. Some Grade
4s have informed me of which number they want, and we will do our best to give students
numbers they want.
We have two sizes of uniforms: the smaller size is numbered 1-20, the bigger size is
numbered 21-40. We will see which size uniform fits each student best.
We will ask students to tell us which number they want most, and if no one else chooses the
same number - done! If there are two or more students who want the same number, we will
do a simple lotto to see who gets it.
We tested the uniforms today on some of the smallest and biggest players, and the overall fit
seems to be good. I am not sure about the socks - they look huge! But we will see ^^

Tournament Opening Ceremony should be at 9:30

The first games start at 10am and the tournament should continue until approximately 3pm.
