Here is a list of resources I can use as a graduate teacher. There are many educational websites which
provide lesson plans and activities which are linked to the Australian curriculum as well as author sites and
wellbeing sites.

Pintrest is a useful tool for educational ideas, including getting to know you games, lesson ideas and creative
ideas for the classroom. I have created a board for education resources which I will use while teaching.

Welcoming schools is a fantastic resource for providing lots of ideas and resources which promote
inclusivity and diversity in schools and classrooms.

Todd Parr is a wonderful author/illustrator who creates childrens picture books that represent a diversity
range of people and present a range of different topics such as diversity and death in an engaging and nonthreating way.

A great resource for free getting to know you games and icebreaker games, including Ubuntu cards. I can
use this at the beginning of the year to help build relationships and get to know students.

This is a fantastic Australia based website full of resources made for teachers, by teachers. It supports
Australian teachers and provides appropriate resources which are linked to the Australian curriculum.

This is useful website with hundreds of free resources for Australian teachers. There are a large variety of
free resources for all subject areas, which are tailored to the Australian curriculum.

Australian resources for teachers and students. Scootle is a one stop shop for Australian teachers and
provides a variety of resources, including lesson plan, an online social network for teachers to share ideas
and assessment tools. All resources are linked to the Australian curriculum and can be found by category or
year level.

Although this site is not explicitly Australian, there are many great resources and it supports fellow teachers.
Resources range from decorative art for the classroom to spreadsheets and checklists for assessments.

An Australian website which has lots of free resources from companies and institutions such as Australia
Post and The Heart Foundation, resources and packs can be mailed for free. I can use this to inform
students about Australian companies.

Australian government resources for schools. This site also has links for a variety of Australia education
associations and other educational websites. This website has an abundance of uses.

This site has some wonderful quick brain breaks for the classroom. There are also fun, short learning
activities that can be used to engage students. I can use these as part of a class ritual or to reengage students
when necessary.

A great resources with tips on how to look after yourself as a teacher. I believe this is especially important as
a graduate and am committed to ensuring my wellbeing so that I am the best teacher I can be.

Writers Workshop information. This is a popular program used by many primary schools. This article
provides me with an in depth understanding of Writers Workshop and how it works.

Victoria government teaching and learning resources. This is a great resource as it is linked to the Victorian
curriculum and can keep me informed on the latest education news in Victoria. There are also wonderful
resources that are linked to the curriculum.
