LO 2: Interplay between the physical
environment and theories of learning.
Essential Questions:
Why would you create a physical environment
that based on theories of learning? How the
physical environment that based on theories of
learning will help you as a future teacher to
teach young children?

Description of Activities:
1. PowerPoint about the interplay between the physical environment and
theories of learning.
2. Find a picture or take a picture (during teaching practice) of a positive
classroom environment and illustrate by using ThingLink. Then, share it with
the class on the Twitter page with #CE1203.
3. Present and share the ThingLink picture in the class.

Assessment:
By using the resources, write a report includes:
Designing a positive classroom environment (physical environment) that based on theories of learning by using Floor Planner.
Description and explanation of classroom floor plan and how this will enhance students learning.
The rubric of report is attached in BB9.

I used technology to teach and assess the student teachers about the content (Interplay between the physical environment and
theories of learning). I do that by:
PowerPoint presents the knowledge (Interplay between the physical environment and theories of learning)
Floor Planner as an assessment to find out how student teachers design tan positive classroom environment according to
theories.
ThingLink as classroom activity to illustrate with adding tags of positive classroom environment. They picture could be from
ThingLink or use their picture from their classroom in teaching practice.
Twitter to share their pictures with their classmates and other people.
