Tuesday.
I will walk around the classroom while they are going through
worksheet.

B. Assessments Used
there wasnt a pre-assessment for this lesson. The students have worked with verb
tenses before in their writing but didnt know what it was. It is something that is hinted in
the years before.
the formative assessment that I will use will be the worksheet that go along with the
lesson and the standards. It will have the students recognize and correct inappropriate
shifts in verb tense, determine the correct tense, and determine if a sentence is a past,
present or future verb tense.
C. Differentiated Instruction

for students who might be struggling with the new unit, I will work with them one-on-one
during class and if need to I will or the student will come back at a later time or date.
D. Resources
write in their notebooks
E. Back Pocket Ideas
if there is any time remaining, I will have the students read for AR points.
