Victoria Jubilee Town Hall, popularly known as VJT Hall, is a town hall in Thiruvananthapuram,
Kerala, India. It had been built to commemorate the golden jubilee of the coronation of Queen
Victoria in 1896.Even today; this colonial structure has retained all its glory and is one of the most
sought-after centres for exhibitions and cultural get-togethers. Popularly known as V.J.T. Hall, the
Victoria Jubilee Town Hall is a function hall which was built in 1896 as a memorial to the
coronation of Queen Victoria
. It was inaugurated by Sree Mulam Thirunal Rama Varma and has been associated with several
important events in the past. Even today the hall is a preferred venue for major exhibitions as well
as political and public gatherings in the city and is located opposite Government University College
at the heart of the city. Victoria Jubilee Town Hall (V J T Hall), controlled by the General
Administrative Department, is located just opposite to Government University College at Palayam
in Thiruvananthapuram. It is a multi-purpose function hall with a seating capacity for 350 persons.

A memorial to Queen Victoria of England, the hall is available for all kind of functions and social
gatherings such as public meetings, seminars and conferences. The governmental functions are
conducted free of charge. Also, no rent is charged for registered charitable society. An exhibition
