vision

Pulling together active people of all ages into a

neighborhood that provides trail ways, creative
studio spaces, and indoor and outdoor recreation
throughout winter and summer is the goal of Chain
Works District in Ithaca, NY. This district provides a
diversity of housing types from residential
apartment units to townhouses, single family
homes, and clustered communities. All of these
housing options are linked to each other and the
greater Ithaca area through pedestrian, bus, and bike
routes. The result is a productive and exciting place
where people can live and work while exploring a
re-envisioned industrial site that provides
necessities, housing, and recreational amenities to
compliment Ithacas parks, colleges, and downtown
commons.
