Purpose of Creating a New Item Availability Panel


Efficiency: With Case volume increasing month over month it was felt that
urgent measures needed to be taken to be able to gather information from
PeopleSoft in a more time effective manner.
SCO Operators were finding they needed to consult 4-5 PeopleSoft Panels to
reasonably evaluate cases
Display information could be consolidated on to a single view
Need to make certain fields copy/paste

Enhancements to the Item Availability Panel


Supply Chain Operations Team Members defined the following information
was in need of consolidation to allow them to better evaluate demand and
supply scenarios
Sales Order Line Information
Item Replenishment Information
Purchasing Attributes

Sales Order Information


Added to the availability Panel is the ability to view:

Sold-to Cust id
Qty Requested, Reserved and Shipped from a Sales Order Line
Schedule and Repromise Information
The Presence of SO Header and Line Holds

Item Replenishment Information


In an effort to make it clear to SCO/CS operators what replenishment class the item in
question included:

Replen Class
Ord Min/Mult
ReOrder Point
Max Qty

Purchasing Attributes
In order to communicate Lead Times effectively we have included some Purchasing
Information onto the Item Availability Panel
