The ice age marked the most recent drastic swing in temperature, exterminating an entire species. Climate change is all too real; and tragically, it may already be too late. It is the obligation of each and every individual inhabiting this earth to protect, and respect their home.

There is no debate climate change is as real as apple pie.
Unfortunately, only half of that claim was true. For some odd reason, many refuse to recognize the facts. Such people deny the existence of climate change and live under a veil of ignorance. The truth may be uncomfortable, but shying away from the inevitable is the precise reason why mankind has found itself under todays looming doom. In fact, ninety-five percent of scientists agree that mankind itself is to blame for climate change. Evidence supports the fact that the natural behavior of the suns solar irradiance is causing climate change as well. Regardless, climate change is all too real; and tragically, it may already be too late. It is the obligation of each and every individual inhabiting this earth to protect, and respect their home. The ice age marked the most recent drastic swing in temperature, exterminating an entire species. Lets not be next. Obviously, temperature on Earth is dependent upon the intensity of the solar rays that reach the Earths surface. Expected, natural causes for changes in the relationship between the sun and the Earth are the suns eleven year cycle of incremental variations in intensity, as well as changes in the tilt and position of the Earths axis and shape of its orbit. This degree of small change has been present throughout the course of history and since 1750, the average amount of solar energy has either remained constant or increased slightly. Yet, it does not explain the sudden, and unexpected leap in global warming. The climatic models developed by modern day scientists havent been able to explain the rising temperatures without taking into account the effect of greenhouse gasses. Furthermore, as stated by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) If the warming were caused by a more active sun, then scientists would expect to see warmer temperatures in all layers of the atmosphere. Instead, they have observed a cooling in the upper atmosphere, and a warming at the surface and in the lower parts of the atmosphere. That's because greenhouse gasses are trapping heat in the lower atmosphere. Therefore, unless future discoveries lead to the understanding that the sun is taking an unexpected route towards much higher intensities on its own accord, greenhouse gasses are the main culprit for climate change. To make matters worse, the rise in greenhouse gases possess a direct correlation with human behavior. This paper is being written thanks to greenhouse gases. In fact, greenhouse gases can be thanked for the existence of all life on planet Earth. Greenhouse gases make up some of the
atmosphere and serve as an invisible blanket that, like Goldilockss porridge,
are just right. Earth has neither too little nor too much greenhouse gasses, and in turn the invisible blanket they create is the perfect thickness for Earths inhabitants to neither freeze nor melt. However, when ignorant, greedy human nature prevails, the balance is thrown off. Since the start of the industrial revolution, greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, and water vapor have increased exponentially. In turn, the Earth is swaddled in unnecessary blanket after unnecessary blanket until oops! Too many blankets increased Earths temperature and the steam age commenced, melting everything on the planet. If humans dont wake up, or a more evolved, wiser alien race doesnt come to tell us how stupid we are, the steam age is inevitable. Necessary precautions must take place.
