Purpose

Goal:
Specialize in the study of Biblical Literature & Wilderness Education
Areas of Research Interest & Rationale
Psalm 19 - Outdoor Adventure & Education: I have seen countless examples prove
that the most effective classroom is under open skies, and I want to learn more
about the Why? and the How? of adventure education.
Psalm 42:7 advises that, Deep calls to deep at the sound of Your
waterfalls; / all Your breakers and Your waves have rolled over me, and
Proverbs 20:5, explains that, The purposes of a mans heart are deep
waters, / but a man of understanding draws them out.
I think that engaging people outside helps connect them to their hearts
and, more importantly, to the heart of their Creator. I want to spend a
lifetime facilitating that, and I want to know how best to go about it.
