ADELE

Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, better known as


Adele, was born in Tottenham, England in
May 5 in 1988, and she was raised by her
mom.
She started singing when she was 4 years
old, and her most important influence were
The Spice Girls and Gabrielle (to whom she
copied the singing style); Jill Scott, Etta
James and The Cure.

With the record company, Adele made her


first record called 19, and she said that it
was about love between 18 and 19 years
old; some of the songs are sad.
She received many nominations for her record
like the Brit Awards, and the Title of Sound
of the BBC in 2008.
In total, she won 9 Grammy Prize, 4 Brit
Awards; 4 American Music Awards, one
Golden Globe and one Oscar Prize.

In the beginning of 2011, Adele made her


second record called 21, and the CD was
more succesfull that 19.
Adele became one of the most important
female artist and influential in the history
of the pop music.

In 2012, she recorded the song Skyfall for


the movie of James Bond .
Her most important songs are:
Rolling in the Deep.
Someone like you
Set fire to the rain
Chasing pavements.

She became a mother recently of a pretty


child .
