Of all of the interns we've ever had, Amber is the most eager to learn and implement new ideas. I
love the passion and energy she brings to our events. She has taken a strong interest in the
outreach and recruitment aspects of our programming. She has explained that it really excites her
to talk about the I Rise Program with parents, to answer questions and to accept applications. Her
career will be well-served by the interest in connecting with families as this is often an early fear
of many social workers. - MDC -

We have not had much of an opportunity to engage in policy practice to advance social and
economic well-being. We do discuss the struggles of working families and/or single mother
households (which make up a significant aspect of our program). I'd love to discuss resources
with Terri to incorporate resources into our future conversations. - MDC In the section below, please provide an Overall Rating of Progress or No Progress for the
