Re: Letter of Resignation

Maam:
Please accept this letter as my formal letter of resignation, resigning my
position as Probationary Mathematics Teacher with the Night High School
Department in La Salle Academy.
I wish to extend my sincerest thanks for allowing me to be a part of your
respected office. I have enjoyed my time teaching the students entrusted to our
care and the value of friendships that I have made with the other members of
the faculty. I believe that this wasnt by chance, instead Gods will, that I was
given the favorable opening offered by circumstances to be able to experience a
holistic development, to share my skills in this teaching field of work, to shape
ones whole being, and most especially to see life in a more positive perspective.
I would admit that there were bunches of learning offered by the school which,
in fact, had helped me come up with this decision.
After much discernment, I regret to inform you that I need to resign from your
good office with the reason that my application for full time graduate study
scholarship in DOST was granted to acquire a masters degree and this would
mean a conflict to our Friday and Saturday schedules. This chance would
certainly help round out my teaching abilities and at the same time, would be
of great help to my familys financial status.
I am sure that this is one of Gods best plans for us and I know for myself that I
can bring out all the best that the school has offered me in order to serve those
who I know are in need of my service. With your great help, Maam, I can be a
catalyst of change to the youth who will be entrusted to my care soon even
outside the portals of La Salle Academy.
