1. Teacher requires the students to share their experi-
ences attempting the course. 2. Students are asked to be seated in their groups and start to talk about the things that they underwent during their course. 3. Teacher leads a whole class discussion in this sec- tion. 4. After the discussion is over, teacher requires the group leaders to come forward to draw lots for their group number. While-presentation (±60 minutes)
1. Every group takes turn to present their products.
2. Each group is given 10 minutes to present their work. 3. Teacher sets the time and leads the evaluation.
4. If the time is up, teacher rings the bell once.
The students are required to end their presentation soon. Post- presentation (±20 minutes)
1. After all the presentations are done, teacher gives
feedback to each group in a brief manner. 2. The detailed feedback will be given in the written form later. 3. Teacher announces the top three winning groups. 4. Teacher gives away tokens of appreciation for the students’ good participation. Conclusion Time : 20 minutes Teacher concludes the whole session on news story writing to the students. He or she explains that writing news story is the key skill for journalist and journalism. It Will be very easy if stu- dents are able to follow the flow of the course.
Teacher also provides some points as a warm wrap up for
the session. They are as below:- Remember you are the narrator, the story teller. Don't be afraid to rewrite. Be as clear and concise the writ- ing as possible. Avoid run-on sentences. Be direct. Tell a good story. Tell the reader what you think they want to know. Always ask yourself what the story is about. Read the story out loud; listen carefully.
Teacher reminds the students that writing news story will be
very enjoying if they are able to feel what they write.
Furthermore, the teacher claims that to be a successful news
story writer will gather, focus, order, draft and revise before pub- lishing his or her story.
Teacher wishes good luck for the students and thanks them for giving good participation.
