Teacher to review with students what they can remember


about criminal and civil law. In the review, teacher to go
through some criminal cases students had picked out in the
last lesson. Teacher will then bring up civil law and get
students to think about some civil cases they know.
Teacher to then go through with students some civil cases.
Teacher to explain what the case was about and what the
sentencing was. Students are to answer a set of questions
in regards to each case. The questions include:
1. Who is involved
2. What is the disagreement about?
3. Who won?
4. Do you agree with the judgment?
Teacher to wrap up by drawing a graphic organiser on the
board and getting students to volunteer the answers on how
to fill up the graphic organizer.
Teacher to thank students for the opportunity to teach them
and t ask students to push their chairs under the tables.

Evaluation :
Lesson went very well. Students were interested in the cases and were volunteering answers. There
was a good discussion between the students and myself after every case, which resulted in my not
being able to wrap up the lesson. I must remember to watch the time.
