Unit Pre/Post-test:
Pretest will be given two weeks prior, post-test will be given the following Friday.
Formal Test will include the students labeling the map with the states and coloring
in the regions. Also for a bonus the students will be able to label one capital,
landmark, and the climate in each region.
Informal assessment:
Use the scale to assess where the students are at with knowing the states.
The students stating how many states they know before and at the end of the lesson.
How well they collaborate in groups.

d.) The students will have access to ipads where they will scan a QR code to learn
about the land mark in that particular region. The students must each find a
different fact about their land mark. Some stations may also have books or apps
as a resource. (noted in resources)
e.) The students will draw the landmarks on the select state that contains the
landmark they are learning about. ESE AND ESOL: VISUAL
