As a team, work towards the successful


implementation of the Malaysian Bridge program
supporting Paul as the chief liaison.
As a team work towards supporting and building on the
teacher exchange program with Korea involving Kali
and Carol, in order to develop a sister-school
relationship.

Provide documents for each level to identify SOA


content in the units each term. These will be put on file
for future reference.

Timeline will be contingent on the Bridge


program.
By the end of term 3 we hope to have
established ongoing relationships.

Successful implementation of Malaysian


Bridge Program status ongoing
Successful teacher exchange to South
Korea, and development of sister-school
relationship status - ongoing

All levels are expected to support the Bridge


Program by including some Malaysian content
in their curriculum/class activities.
All levels are expected to have some content
in their curriculum related to their Odd
Country.
In line with this years whole school focus on
Numeracy, all levels are encouraged to
include some maths activities with an Asian
perspective.
Libby to oversee upkeep and development of
area, especially coordination of displays from
each level on term basis.
Each level given a term to display Asia-related
learning completed throughout the term.
Continued upkeep of display boxes.

Positive advancements in this area, all


levels have included aspects of SOA in
their curriculum planners.

SOA team members responsible for


contributing to newsletter on behalf of their
level.
Claudia to oversee maintenance of SOA
related content on website and Facebook.

SOA newsletter contributions have been


made however room for more SOA team
members to contribute in 2016.

SOA area has been successfully


maintained overall. Classes have
contributed to displays although this can
be improved upon in 2016, including use
of area by class teachers.

Asian Garden

Create a visually stunning, student driven Asian


garden.

dates and logistics.

SOA curriculum policy

Update SOA curriculum policy in accordance with


initiatives.

Aim is to link a couple of SOA Day activities


with the development of garden to allow for
student input across the school.

Completed by term 3.
