Focus questions on data collected


Student misbehavior: Describe what happened in the first class. What types
of misbehavior did you observe? When did these happen? How did the
teacher respond? What were the most effective strategies used? What were
the least effective strategies?
In this task I was observed my MST class in the first ten specially when
the lesson start all students were talking, My MST dont talk but she just
turn on and off the light and all the students were stop talking and stand
to greet the teacher. I think it is good and it is safe the time because if
she stating to tell them be quit many times she will lost a lot of theme to
control them. There are a lot of misbehavior happened on the class such
as , noisy , inappropriate movement , inappropriate use of material ,
damage material and taking something without promotion and each miss
behavior teacher was have different respond. The most effective
strategist teacher was use it is point strategy because when the students
take a black point they starting to be quiet and dont do any misbehavior
to they dont take another black points so I was applied this strategy with
my students. According to the least effective strategy which is have a
small respond from the students which turn on and off the light because
the student being quite just on the time the teacher turn on and off the
light. I think is strategy will be better for the students when they doing
activity.

Student involvement: Choose 2 children from your second observation and


describe their level of involvement and deviancy. Was there a correlation (link
or relationship) between involvement and behavior?
In my observation I noticed 1 child was low involvement and serous deviancy
which that mean this student getting low grade and dont participant on the
class however she like to do noisy on the class and confuse other students, I
think the students did like that because may she need attract her teacher. The
students I noticed she was high involvement and low deviancy which means
she is strong students on her grad and good Paris pate with the teacher and
she quite students and less misbehavior. The reason of what I noticed, the
student take care of her grad. There are a relationship between the level of
involvement and deviancy which is Inverse relationship if the student have
involvement she will be have low deviancy however this link doesnt work
every time because some time children have high involvement and high
deviancy.

Use your observations and readings to discuss the factors that can contribute
to a childs misbehaviour?
There a lot of factors that can contribute to a childs misbehavior such as teacher dont
being attentive and when the teacher overly concentrate on student,

dealing with misbehaviour? (illness, egocentric, attention seeking,
stubbornness, learning or behavioral problems, negative peer influence,
strategies inappropriate for age/interests of students)

I have used point strategy and it was effective because students like to competition
also in deed people like competing each other.
The other I feel it is affective students a seating plan because they will work
cooperative and vegostky support strategist work together to help another to learn
(Selvin,2012)

What abilities, attitudes and traits do you think an ideal teacher should
have?
How can this influence the management and atmosphere of a class?
Teacher should be friendly approachable and having a balance from punishment and
reward.
The teacher should be organize, have time management and observant.
This will show students the type of learning environment which you are reflecting.
