Reflections

week -1
TP was a great opportunity to combine the classroom knowledge and experience
together. Meeting up real life situations and attending classrooms gave me a chance to
see how the teacher controls the class and how both the the teacher and students act and
react in different situations such as new lessons, revisions, tasks, remedies, experiments
and tests. I was in a science class focusing on all of that and quietly observing the
relationship between the teacher and the students and how the students were comfortable
in communicating with the teacher and openly expressing their feelings about the
difficulty of a lesson and providing ideas for revision and tasks. Moreover, the teacher
was surly changing her methods and techniques from time to time in the teaching
process. For example, she once told the students that they will be conducting an
experience tomorrow and asked them to bring certain objects and ingredients to the class.
Also, in some other lesson, she did not inform them a class before that there will an
experiment and they found the ingredients ready when they entered the classroom. From
observing both moments, I found that the students in the first instance were excited and
motivated. The curious students were also telling each other ahead about the purpose of
the experiment and how and when every ingredient will be used. That knowledge before
the experiment was presented to them by their family when they helped in preparing the
ingredients. However, in the other instance, the students were definitely curious and
motivated but not in the same way as in the first situation. This time, they were looking at
the objects and were trying to guess what the experiment would be about and/ or at least
try to figure out how some of the objects would be used.

week -2
Practicum is important for understanding and improving educational process. In the
second week in my teaching practice , I did many useful duties such as, I helped the
teacher assistant Ms May lanii to to take the students to the playground , also, I helped
my mst Ms Asil in correcting the work book and the home work sheet. I also helped my
Mst in organizing the classroom wall and put displays and labeling the
classroom. Labeling helps to create an environment that puts children at ease and
contributes to self-directed learning and helps children to develop responsibility as they
care for the materials. enjoyed the duties because doing different type of duties can
helping me in developing my skills and be more creative. it also can help me in solving
problems and create a solutions if i had a future problems .
I learned how to organize the classroom and put clear instructions before giving them any
activity so they will know what to do .
What drew my attention; the different displays in front of the class and outside the
class. Some displays were the students works and other displays were the teacher works.
Displays are very important because they create a stimulating environment, and it is
scaffolding for childrens learning. Some displays in the class helped in increasing
childrens investment in learning. What I observed, in numeracy class the students see the
display to get examples of huge and small, tall and short etc . And there were another
display under when I grow up shows the students works. They create words and photos
describing their future. And it was helping children value their own work.

week -3
teaching practice is the key to improving different skills and use different
strategies. this week was the most exciting because I had a great methods to deal
with the students.
I was focusing on the students levels. ( high level, medium level, low level) . I mix
the students in each group because the student whose level is high will help the
student who is low level and support him.
this week I helped my teacher in change the setting arraignments and i went with
the teacher assistant in the playtime to the playground and look after the kids and
make sure they are safe. I also, went to the book shop and bought colors, pencils,
bookcases, arrisars , sharpers. I think its good job because it will teach me how to
be more responsible and take care of the kids and the classroom materials.
this week they completed the five senses lesson and the teacher brought different
activities as a review for them to make sure they know everything before she starts
the new lesson.
for the next week I will focus on the behaving , and i will focus on managing the
time .and for the next week they will take a child development in science.

Reflection
week -4
Teaching practice for this week was very interested . My focus was on planning
and preparing lessons. Good planning is crucial aspect of effective teaching.
Teachers need to have clear ideas about their lesson they wish to set up and to
have carried out the necessary preparation if it is to be .The main elements are
involved in planning a lesson. First is the need to consider the general aims and
specific educational outcomes the lesson is intended to achieve. The activities and
sequencing of these. Third is the need to monitor and evaluate pupils educational
progress, so that the teacher can assess whether the lesson has been successful. this
what i had did it this week.
every thing goes perfect this week, students had a flag day on Tuesday after 12
pm. it was excited . they were happy .
