PROCEDURES AND TIMELINE:

Introduction: Prior to beginning each drill I will motivate my students and have fun with them to make them
want to enjoy the drill. I will go over each drill properly to make sure they understand. I also will teach them to
work together as one a help each other when needed.
Procedures: I set up four stations: field goals, passing and catching, end zone scoring, and scrimmage. The
class has 24 students that will be divided up into 3 groups of 8 students each. Groups will start at a station and
do each station for 2 minutes before switching at a fast moving pace and scrimmage will be played at 10mins.
Each group will go through a station three times before we start our closure for the day.
Field Goals- The first station students will line up on the 10 yard line of the field one student will
then place the football kicking tee on the 2 yard line the student will then place the football on the tee
and then will say a football count 3 parts down, set, hike, that then will let the student in line know to
run and try to kick the football through the field goal up right that student then will replace the holder as
the holder gets in line and await his turn to kick this process will continue until time is up or hear whistle
blow.
Passing and catching- one student will line up in the middle of the field on the 50 yard mark
which will be the passer while the other students will line up on the left or right hash mark on the cone
the students will then run a vertical route meaning straight forward the passer will then throw the ball to
the receiver and after the catch is made the student will the run the ball back to the quarterback not
throw it and the process will continue until time is up or hear whistle blow.
End zone scoring- one student will line up in the center of the field on the 20 yard line which will
be the passer the receivers will line up on the left or right hash on the cone there will be 4 pylons which
is the end zone which will display out of bounds on the quarterbacks count the receiver will run a fade
route towards the back pylon where the quarterback will throw an over the shoulder throw for the
reviver to catch and after the catch is made the student will then run the ball back in not throw and the
process will continue until time is up or the whistle blow.
Scrimmage- I will break the students up into two groups and they will play a 10minute simulated
game I will pass out flags to everyone when flag is ripped off which represent a tackle meaning a
stoppage in play. Students will start on the 50yard line and will go all the way to the end zone and try
and score the team only has four downs to try and get a first down and when a team score they must kick
and extra point they cannot go for two point conversion after time as run out the team with the most
points win. The winning team then will go over to the losing team and will still congratulate them for
their hard work and effort.

Closure: In closing well all meet in the center of the field for any questions the students may want to ask and
just have an open discussion about the lesson. Then I will ask them a few questions about the lesson as well to
test their knowledge and see what they have learn and make sure they understand what was going on. We will
all then come together and make up a team chant to say to show we are all one family and just have a little fun
together.

ASSESSMENT EVIDENCE:
The students worked together to achieve their goals.

The students showed encouragement to one another throughout all the drills with verbal acknowledgements, clapping for
one another, and chanting positive comments
The students will improve over time with all the basic skill and will reap benefits of exercise

MODIFICATIONS:
I am aware that modifications will be made for students who did not master the objectives and for those ready
for enrichment. However, modifications are not covered in this course and are not part of this particular lesson.
