Hi,
I added a senior capstone project for English 405, which is a group project focusing on applying Chomsky's theories to Japanese language.
Another one is a literature analysis paper for one of Marie's lais "Bisclavret". I thought it would be more helpful.

It is a little bit too early for you since you are going to graduate in 2016.
May I know what your score of TOEFL (total and sections)? Have you ever taken SAT or ACT, how much is your scores (total and sections)?
How about GRE or GMAT?

Hi,
Actually I'm going to graduate in December 2015, which is in fall. Sorry for the confusion.
My TOEFL score is 82 in total but it was taken like 5 years ago, and I'm sure I can do much better now. My writing and speaking are
about 23 and 26. I don't quite remember. I haven't taken any SAT or ACT since it was not needed for school admission at that time. I plan to
take GRE test after I gain some working experiences so that will be 1 or 2 years of working.
I'm a linguistics major so I have taken a lot of specialized courses that are extremely useful for my job at 408 academy. For instance, creative
wiriting, technical wiriting, workplace wiriting, structure of modern English, history of English language and classic English literature courses. I
all gained A or Aon those courses.
My first language is Chinese so I have no problem of teaching Chinese language as well. Although I'm a Chinese student, my English almost
have 0 accent. So it would be no problem for me communicating with foreign students. I'm also learning Spanish currently as my third
language.
I thought this opportunity could be my first job after graduation and I did a bit research on 408 Academy. Unfortunately, I didn't get a lot of
useful information on the Internet. Could you please elaborate more on your institution?

Can you send your undergraduate transcript from Miami University (unofficial copy is fine)?
Can you try to find your TOEFL copy which you took 5 years ago, take a pic and send it. If you cannot find TOEFL copy, it is fine.

Hi,
I'm currently in China, so it may be a little late replying to your email now and sorry about that.
I am an international student from China so I have attended high school in Chongqing No. 8 middle school, which is the top 3 high school in
Chongqing. I was originally majoring in Finance but I found it not for me and I'm more interested in languages, so I changed my major to
linguistics and I'm doing very well and my grade is getting better and better. Attachments are the academic transcripts from last year, and the
courses that I'm going to take in Fall. As you can see, I did very well on those English courses and relatively good on other courses as well. I

believe those specialized courses make me very suitable working at 408 academy. Unfortunately, I am not able to find my TOEFL score
because it needs a user name and password, which I totally couldn't remember.
Aside from the grades, I think good interpersonal skills are important in the workplace too. I have also taken communication course learning
how to give public speeches and various sets of communication skills and earned a grade of A-. As listed in the resume, I worked in the human
resource department in Chongqing times that has greatly exercised my communication skills and interpersonal skills, including regularly writing
reports, attending meetings and communicate with different departments.
Again, I really appreciate this opportunity because it's the right job for my major, and I plan to move to California so it would be great for me to
work there.
