California Gold Rush

Today in class we talked about the California Gold Rush. We then got to
take a risk and pick out our own land, just like the pioneers did then!
We sifted through our land to find gold! Each of you found 15 pieces of
gold. Some of the pieces were big and some were small. You are going
to count how many pieces you have of each size, find how much that
size is worth, and add together all 15 of your pieces to see how much
money you made off your land! Make sure to show your work while
adding! If you need more space to add, you can write on the back.
