Student Objectives/Learning Outcomes

Lesson One:
TSW integrate mathematics into their lesson by measuring and comparing the lengths of their
various body parts such as limbs and head.
TSW analyze the measurements for relationships such as equal to, twice the length, half the
length, and one and a half times the length.
TSW compare measurement data with other students data.
Lesson Two:
TSW be able to identify the various systems of the human body and explain their purpose.
TSW discover how to properly place and identify organs in a playful portrayal of a human
body diagram.
Lesson Three: TSW will be able to accurately describe the potential causes and symptoms of
their assigned disease.
TSW be able to identify certain characteristics that depict either a healthy or unhealthy
lifestyle and will be asked to explain the potential consequences relating to each.
