2 REMOVE PC CORE
Separate the PC Core box from the TCM I/O base module: To do this, remove
all the PC Peripheral connectors and the two M4 screws. Retain the screws for
use later.
The Peripheral connectors could be SDC / Power / VGA / LAN / USB / PS2
Keyboard / PS2Mouse / PCCM / Serials 1-4 / LPT. Take note of all connections
for re-assembly.
Slide the PC module off the I/O module and disconnect the mains cable at the
rear of the PC while doing so. The PC Core should now be removed clear of the
ATM to a safe location, clear of the work area. (See Fig 4)

5 Fit IFD Bracket Ground Harness
Locate Qty 1 Off, item 1 from kit - connect harness between mounting point for
IFD enclosure / baseplate and the common ground point beneath the PC core.
See Figure 7 and Figure 8.

8 Check Security Camera Bracket
It is important that the Security Camera Mounting Bracket does not touch the
fascia camera aperture metal frame, as this can disturb IFD operation.
Ensure sufficient clearance is available and take into consideration flexing of
fascia.
Adjust camera mounting bracket as necessary to maintain clearance.

10 Test
10.1 NOTE - This testing should only take a few minutes. Familiarise yourself
with the test method before conducting the tests.
10.2 IFD powered on
10.3 Ensure top box is fully closed
10.4 Open rear door and observe IFD all LED's are lit and are strobing
in/out/in/out in a pattern
10.5 Pull out cherry switch (door) actuator arm - strobing will stop
10.6 Wait 20 seconds and DO NOT INTERFERE WITH ANY PART OF THE ATM
10.7 IF customers interfere with ATM at this point, LED's may not be stable, in
which case wait until LED's stable before moving onto next step.
10.8 observe LED's now stable
10.9 Without closing door, rack back card reader away from fascia aperture for
20 seconds
10.10 Observe LED D208 flashing
10.11 DO NOT INTERFERE WITH ANY PART OF THE ATM.
10.12 Observe LED D208 becomes stable after 136 seconds and LED D1 lights
10.13 Push cherry Switch back to mid postion and observe IFD all LED's are lit
and are strobing in/out/in/out in a pattern
10.14 Test Complete
10.15 Close rear door
