Dear Families,
I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Ashley Villarreal, and I will be
spending the next 12 weeks with your child as a student teacher in Tammi Walkowskis
room. I am completing my associates degree at NWTC in Early Childhood Education.
While in your childs classroom I will be working under the supervision of the Director
Michelle Molland, and my cooperating teacher Tammi Walkowski as I complete planning
and teaching activities.
My pervious teaching experiences include working at a before and after school
program during the school year. This year is my 4th year working at the before and after
school program. I work with children ages 5 through 12. I also work a full day summer
program as well. This coming summer will be my 4 th summer there working with children
ages 5 through 12. I also have volunteer childcare experience working with children
ages 0-8 years at an in home family daycare setting for the past 7 years. Over the next
few weeks, I hope to teach many lessons that will help your children learn and grow. I
am very excited to get to know you and your children.

432-9130. You can leave a message with Michelle or Tammi as well and I will get back
to you as soon as possible, or I will be in the room with the children Mondays,
Wednesdays, and Thursdays 9:15 until 2:00. Feel free to talk to me then as well. I look
forward to meeting you and working with your child.
