Although I have worked for companies in the service industry for

cumulatively of 12 years, I have bolded the skills that I have used in my most recent
jobs as a barista, flight attendant, Anatomy Lab Teachers Assistant (TA), and
currently a hospital volunteer.

As a barista, I provided customers with enthusiastic service, maintained a
high level of activity, while ensuring that I assisted and cooperated as a team
member with my coworkers.

My acquired people skills and enthusiasm carried over to my job as a flight
attendant. As a flight attendant, I became adept at public speaking, entertaining
passengers during delays, and handling complaints. My primary responsibility, as a
flight attendant, was the passengers safety. I was skilled at operating emergency
equipment, enforcing rules and regulations, and maintaining a calm demeanor and
emotional control under stress. I wrote up flight reports for trip irregularities and
emergencies, and I endured long hours of work when there were weather and
aircraft delays.

I became actively involved at Washington State University, Vancouver
campus by working as an Anatomy Lab TA. I taught students review sessions of
course content and I helped clean, store, and maintain lab equipment.

As a hospital volunteer, my primary responsibilities are to serve the patients
and support the staff. I interact with people at different levels, and take personal
responsibility for creating meaningful and challenging work.
