Student will create a How To Prezi
presentation where they will provide steps on
how to complete a task.
State: Comprehension and Collaboration- 3.
Ask and answer questions about what a
speaker says in order to clarify
comprehension, gather additional information,
or deepen understanding of a topic or issue.
Conventions of Standard English- 1.
Demonstrate command of the conventions of
standard English grammar and usage when
writing or speaking.
a) Create readable documents with
legible print.
b) Use collective nouns (e.g., group).
c) Form and use frequently occurring
irregular plural nouns (e.g., feet,
children, teeth, mice, fish).
d) Use reflexive pronouns (e.g., myself,
ourselves).
e) Form and use the past tense of
frequently occurring irregular verbs
(e.g., sat, hid, told).
f) Use adjectives and adverbs, and
choose between them depending on
what is to be modified.

I will share a Prezi made by myself on how to
become a successful reader in my classroom.
I will demonstrate the different effects
available through Prezi throughout my own
presentation.
Students will work on this project on their
own. The laptops will be readily available.
The teacher will provide feedback and help
throughout the lesson plans. Monitoring will
be done during each lesson as well.
Students will pair up and share their How To
presentations with one classmate. Students
will grade one anothers project with a
provided rubric.
